Age Inclusivity in Higher Education Webinars

Evidence-Based Strategies for Creating Age-Inclusive Campuses

Drawing on the model of Age Inclusivity Domains of Higher Education (AIDHE), attendees will learn about transformative, actionable strategies to create age-inclusive campuses as recommended by a Delphi panel of experts in higher education. Reflecting three core domains of institutional function (Teaching and Learning, Personnel, and Student Affairs), the 23 recommended strategies show how addressing challenges of age inclusivity calls for balancing priority, impact, feasibility, and likelihood of implementation considerations.

This program is supported by a RRF Foundation for Aging grant (grant number #2023218).

How Age-Inclusive is Your Campus? Use the Age-Friendly Inventory and Campus Climate Survey (ICCS) to Find Out

During this webinar, attendees will learn how to use the Age-Friendly Inventory and Campus Climate Survey (ICCS) to identify existing age-friendly practices across seven core domains of institutional function (Teaching & Learning, Student Affairs, Personnel, Community Outreach, Services & Resources, Research, Physical Environment) and assess the extent to which age-diverse students, faculty, and staff are aware of and value these practices. With this information in hand, campuses will be better able to refine their age-inclusive efforts and explore new opportunities.
