Mary A. Dolansky, PhD, RN, FAAN, is the Sarah C. Hirsh Endowed Professor in Nursing and a professor at the Frances Payne Bolton School of Nursing at Case Western Reserve University. She also serves as Director of the Hirsh Institute for Implementing Best Practices and Associate Director of the Institute for Population and Community Health. Dr. Dolansky’s work centers on quality improvement, patient safety, implementation science, and age-friendly health systems. Her research has advanced care for older adults, with particular attention to heart failure self-management, cognitive impairment, and safer care transitions. She is a co-director of the VA Quality Scholars program at the VA Northeast Ohio Healthcare System and has held leadership roles in workforce development and interprofessional education. Dr. Dolansky has led and contributed to numerous federally and foundation-funded projects focused on improving clinical care and health systems. Her contributions have been recognized with national awards in nursing leadership and geriatric care. Through her teaching, research, and practice partnerships, she helps health professionals translate evidence into better outcomes for patients and communities.

Dr. Sherry Greenberg is the Interim Evelyn Lauder Associate Dean of Nurse Practitioner Programs and Professor at Hunter-Bellevue School of Nursing. She is a nurse practitioner Advisory Group member on the Institute for Healthcare Improvement’s Age-Friendly Health Systems initiative. Dr. Greenberg is Past President of the Gerontological Advanced Practice Nurses Association. She is a member of the Gerontology & Geriatrics Education Editorial Board. Dr. Greenberg is a 2025-2026 Health and Aging Policy Fellow and American Political Science Association Congressional Fellow. Dr. Greenberg earned her academic nursing degrees, Baccalaureate, Masters, and PhD, from the University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing and was a Jonas Nurse Leaders Scholar. She has worked as a certified gerontological nurse practitioner in acute, long-term care, and outpatient primary care practices and has taught at undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral nursing levels. Dr. Greenberg is a Certified Professional in Age-Friendly Health Care.
