Gerontology students are seeking more teaching experiences and would benefit hearing from seasoned academics and faculty. In this webinar, we are pleased to invite Professor Christine Thurlow to share her work on intergenerational relationships and how to actualize that with students. Her dissertation was on how student experiences and reflections with older adults may alter the views of younger people toward the positive. Moreover, her 2019 presentation at GSA was on steps to take to develop these intergenerational teaching strategies in the online or on-ground classroom.

Presented by:
  • Christine Thurlow, PhD, RN, Professor at Research College of Nursing/University of Missouri, Kansas City
